Come to the opening of the exhibition Nezametat strepy.
The artist will present ceramic reliefs and tiles created continuously since last spring in different places, in different conditions and moods. It is this fragmentation that creates a colorful series that, like drawings in a sketchbook or notes in a diary, aims to capture unspoken feelings and hard-to-name states. A kind of indeterminate mystery, the meaning of which we can often piece together from a distance.
Because ceramics and the very process of their creation are fragile, just like life itself, in addition to playfulness, illustrativeness and tenderness, anxiety about the contemporary world is also imprinted in these works.

Jantra Šímová graduated from Illustration and graphics studio at UMPRUM. In addition to illustrations, free graphics and the creation of author's books, she devotes herself to painting, devising exhibitions, ceramics and knitting. He teaches art workshops and is interested in projects with a social and community impact. She is a member of the Knedlík collective, works for the Ramus platform and completed art internships in Marseille, Georgia and Mexico.

⋆‧ The event takes place thanks to the kind financial support from the Culture and Arts Support Program for one-year subsidies in 2026 by the City Hall of the Capital City of Prague.
