About event
Summer as seen by children. This is exactly the theme of the textile work, which was created under the hands of children and under the guidance of Vivien Babicová, creative director of the Sustainable Fashion Laboratory - LUMó project.
The work has its own story: it was created at a workshop for International Children's Day in LUMó HUB, where children, under the guidance of experienced lecturers, tried out embroidery, felting and carpet tying - and step by step, knot after knot, they transformed their idea of a perfect flight into textiles. The materials - deadstock yarns and fabrics - were donated by the supplier Select.
Now it's time to show what came of it. During the opening, we will hang the work on the wall of the Velice × Little Paddock space in the park, where it will remain hanging all summer and delight everyone who stops by.
