About event
We invite you to the opening and exhibition in the Zichy Old Town Gallery, where AUSGANG studio will present its new project "Why is your digital avatar so rude?"
Date: Vernissage, October 3rd at 6 p.m.
Duration of the exhibition: October 3rd - 27th
Place: Old Town Gallery Zichy, Ventúrska 9.
Accompanying program: Musical guest of the opening Tomo Michalčák.
Entrance fee: Entry to the exhibition and the opening is free.
Gallery opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday 15 – 19.
The exhibited work AUSGANG studio deals with themes of technological progress, environmental processes and the duality between reality and virtuality. Thanks to the connection of these themes, the authors deform the space of the installation in time, creating new and surprising environments. These allow visitors to completely immerse themselves in the situation and perceive the physical reality of the exhibition in connection with digital reality.
AUSGANG studio works not only with the visual, but also with the auditory and performative language of the cyber environment. Through various strategies and subversive practices, they open up questions about virtualization and the socio-political problems associated with the creation of new worlds. An interdisciplinary approach helps them blur the boundaries between cyberspace and physical reality, thus creating new aesthetic views of the world.
