Welcome to the tasting of the Rotes Haus winery and a dinner - an exclusive evening in the gardens of the Weingut am Nussberg in Vienna.

Together with the Weingut Mayer am Pfarrplatz, Julius Meinl am Graben invites you to a special summer evening in the middle of the Viennese vineyards. Look forward to an exclusive tasting of selected wines from the Rotes Haus am Nussberg and Mayer am Pfarrplatz wineries, personally presented in the winery's private vineyard, as well as a hearty family-style dinner.

An evening in a unique ambience, characterized by characterful wines from the surrounding locations, finely balanced cuisine and the special atmosphere of the Nussberg high above the city.

Arrival & Shuttle Service

Since the Red House on Nussberg is a private location without direct access or parking, we recommend traveling comfortably with our shuttle service. Advance registration at catering@meinlamgraben.eu is required.

For registered guests, there are regular shuttle rides between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. from Mayer am Pfarrplatz, Pfarrplatz 2, 1190 Vienna, to Mayer am Nussberg. After the event, the shuttle will take you back to the starting point. The cost is € 10 per person for a return trip and must be paid in cash directly to the driver.

After the reception and aperitif at Mayer am Nussberg, we walk together to the Red House in about five minutes. If you arrive individually, we ask you to arrive at Mayer am Nussberg at 7:00 p.m.

The Red House looks slowly over the city of Vienna. This idyllic domicile gives the winery its name and adorns the enchanting vineyard landscape on the unique Nussberg.

The Red House and the famous Viennese top location Nussberg form a unit. Numerous individual vineyards form a colorful landscape and require elaborate manual work from the winemaker. The temperature differences between day and night are characteristic of the significant terroir. They support the important aroma formation of the wines.

Fruity-spicy notes, firm, mineral expression - the Viennese Mixed Set DAC from the Red House. This Viennese jewel is cared for here in a variety of forms with great dedication and is also aged as an extremely long-lasting version in large wooden barrels.
