The graduating class of the “Ernst Busch” Academy of Dramatic Arts is dedicating their collective work to the seven deadly sins.

In an effort to test the theater process as a democratic experiment, 24 young people are trying to playfully make their way through a centuries-old concept. Inspired by the universal motifs of the seven deadly sins, it tells of an evening in which 24 different characters meet at a funeral service to say goodbye. Incorporating classical and contemporary dramatic literature as well as our own texts, the production explores the ambivalences of human passions, desires and vices.
