About event
Electronic producer Ventolin returns with the album All the best. It is the most diverse and sophisticated recording of musician and academic David Doubek to date, which ranges from psychedelic acid techno to jungle, disco, indie-pop to hip-hop. For the first time in his discography, he invited another singer - the rapper MC Gey - to the album.
All the best is a collection of songs that Ventolin wrote and recorded in 2024. They are united by the search for joy in music and writing - despite social-civilizational circumstances and my own fears and anxieties. and each song went through many versions. The result is a greater layering of sound and feeling. I still feel best in the disorganized sound of synthesizers, but I also used a lot of guitars on the album, and at the same time I sing more on it than ever before.
Athena Chlebová is a wild rapper. a being that moves on the waves of dnb and techno. In his reflections on life, he lends a partner's hand and dispenses stories from life with self-irony. Thanks to studying ecology, he often brings environmental themes into his songs. She has been active since 2018. She released her debut album Bolí mě život, vole in 2021. The debut was followed by the EP THICK LINE (2023) and in the same year the techno album Fragments of Happiness (produced by Anna Borshun) was released. In 2024, she released the successful album LACHEEBA.
