Velvet Underground Revival band

For more than 30 years, musicians from the groups Plastic People of the Universe and Garage (rejuvenated by new reinforcements last year) have performed in a joint project that is a tribute to the underground legend - The Velvet Underground, one of the most inspiring bands in the history of music. This is best described by the words of Brian Eno: "The Velvet Underground's first album only sold ten thousand copies, but everyone who bought it started a band." At the concert of the iconic Velvet Underground Revival band, you will experience the atmosphere of the turn of the 60s and 70s for yourself, you will hear all the famous hits of the Velvets, from the noisy walls of Heroin to the fragile Pale Blue Eyes.

The Velvet Underground Revival Band played together for the first time in 1987 in Prague after a memorable concert with Nico. In April 1990, Lou Reed invited them to a joint concert in Prague, and in January 2005, the band accompanied the Stage Interviews in Prague's Švandov Theater with Lou Reed and Václav Havel. In their conclusion, they played the song Sweet Jane together with Reed.
