💣 At the end of May we have a big, but really big shag event! 💥 Four of our lecturers put their heads and feet together to move you one step further in shag in one day and provide inspiration for a summer party. 👟 Morning St. Louis, collegiate in the afternoon, party in the early evening. 🪭 What more could you want from life? 🍀
👉 IS IT FOR ME? 👈
✅ It is, if you master at least these shag basics:
⏰ morning ⏰ you can do the basic step St. Louis shagu or are you an advanced lindy hopper who learns quickly and is not afraid of a challenge
🌞 afternoon 🌞 you have been dancing collegiate shag for at least 3 months and you have mastered the basic step and leading/following simpler figures
🏆 The workshop will be conducted in such a way that even more advanced dancers can take something away from it, so don't let the minimum level discourage you, it's just a necessary foundation :-)
🔮 WHAT AWAITS ME? 🔮
We will meet at two two-hour sessions dedicated to two shag styles. If you both dance, we count on you for the whole day! But if you don't dance the second shag or you can't finish one of the blocks, feel free to sign up for just one - it's better to shag a little than not at all!

What does St. Louis shag St. Louis shagem? Foundation, styling and points! And this is exactly what we will enjoy together at the workshop!
In the first part, we will focus on turns - how to lead them, follow them and maintain stability (and also style) in them. The second part will belong to basic step variations. We will show you simple and more playful variations that also work for faster music and add more lightness to the dance.

You can do the basics. But let's give it a little more flair!
Sassy Shag is a workshop for those who have mastered the basics of collegiate shag and want to add something extra - a little playfulness, a little imagination, a little musicality (no, a lot!) and a few moments when the four beats behave completely differently than you are used to.
Come with enthusiasm! You will leave with your new shag self.

Come with passion! You'll leave with a new Shag You.
