Veľká kultúrna mobilizácia! Takú ešte nehrali

Text of the organizer:

31.3.2026 / 17:30 / we start at Freedom Square in Bratislava

Great cultural mobilization!
They haven't played this one yet\

We are angry. We are calling all people from the cultural village and we are asking the public - join us!

There must be a lot of us. We are addressing everyone from all over Slovakia. Come to Bratislava. There are institutions that are responsible for a huge crisis in culture.

Come and take with you:

• Your loved ones
• Your colleagues
• Your acquaintances

What to bring with you?

We want to be not only seen, but also properly heard! Get ready with us for a march that will express the diversity and strength of culture.

Drum bands will set the rhythm of the march. Join them with your musical instruments.

Bring:

• Drums
• Percussion
• Vocals
• Triangle
• Trumpets
• Bagpipes
• Horns (biggest wish)

Stand up for what is important to you. Prepare DIY flags for your institutions:

• Cultural centers
• Museums
• Galleries
• Libraries
• Theatres
• Festivals
• Cultural projects

There are no limits to creativity.

We march in any weather. Watch the forecast and prepare: - Raincoats (more practical than umbrellas)

• Warm clothes
• A thermos with tea

How can you help us?

We need to get information about the protest to as many people as possible. We have therefore prepared several options for how you can help us with this.

At platformaok.sk/vkm you can find: poster, leaflet

Print them and distribute them in your surroundings - in your institutions, in your city or village. You can find a color and black-and-white version on the link.

• Write about the protest to as many people as possible
• Share our posts about the protest
• Make a video invitation and publish it on your social networks
• Invite people to the Facebook event of the protest
• Talk to those around you about the situation in culture

We are holding together!
