The Gondwan Label Showcase will present the Vega Trails project, which met Portico Quartet and Mammal Hands, a new couple Kessoncoda or the Paradise Cinema project, founded by another Portico Quartet Jack Wyllie. The whole evening will be accompanied by his visual art by Jozef Čabo. Vega Trails is a new project for the Player Mila Fitzpatrick, known from the line -up of the cult London body Portico Quartet. During the Lockdown pandemic, he went to the music that enjoyed in the open space and sparseness, the qualities he found on Charlie Haden's records. But from the beginning he also knew that he needed the same attuned partner he found in saxophonist Jordan Smart, who plays with Mammal Hands or Sunda Arc. On the debut album Vega Trails called Tremors in the Static, however, Smart also plays other wind instruments, including the Persian end flute Ney. Together with the double bass, the new, magical sound world is born on the Vega Trails. But their compositions can be heard that they also like Squarepushera, Radiohead or Clark, their music brings fierce film emotions and calm melodic passages. He shoots music in the Tom studio in the garden and this summer released a great debut album OuterState.

He is accompanied by Khadim Mbay, Tons Sambe and Laurence Pike and on the eponymous debut album recorded in Dakar, the sounds of African rhythms of MBalax are discovered. The current album Returning, Dream comes after four years and the quartet has different forms of world music, ambient and minimalism creators such as Jon Hassell, Terry Riley, Don Cherry or Midori Takada.
