About event
An evening about fascinating films that you have (perhaps) never seen
Are you looking for quality film tips and have you ever thought that you have seen everything good?
Are you interested in a film or at least like watching films and want to learn more?
During the evening, in which we will present over 40 films from more than 30 countries around the world, you will be treated to a lot of engaging information and annotated previews of films that have been shown in the Czech-Slovak languages regions, they have not yet been lucky enough to reach a wider audience, but they nevertheless contain the potential of an exceptional experience.
The diverse selection of genres from the silent era to the present will not lack entertaining archival specialties, formally imaginative creations of auteur directors, cult films from exotic countries or long-unavailable "vault" films. Films are sometimes funny or bizarre, other times inspiring, bringing unusual themes, strong emotions or the opportunity to look into a different culture and time in the form of a fictional story.
You will be accompanied in the evening by a young film enthusiast, publicist and educator PaedDr. Martin Šmelko, PhD.
