Večer kolektivního rytmu: happy hour, varhany a DJ

Saturday evening of the Dancetopia festival opens a space where transcendence, artificial intelligence and collective experience meet on a changing terrain.

The evening begins with a panel discussion, where the artistry and curatorship of the Dancetopia festival will come together. This "happy hour" invites the audience to reflect on the festival's themes of authenticity and artifice through the experience and practice of artistry. The panel discussion format creates a space for the exchange of opinions and dialogue and offers a unique opportunity to meet in one common and structured discussion that goes beyond informal meetings at joint festival events.

The program continues with the performance of Terminal; dances for organby Katrina E. Bastian, an urgent exploration of the human instinct towards transcendence in the age of artificial intelligence. This AI-edited choreography follows a path from the flamboyance of palace performances to piety to contemporary club culture to finally arrive at recursive loops of algorithmic desire. Accompanied by a massive organ, the dancers demonstrate their movements in the process of data extraction and ask yourself whether this meeting with artificial intelligence becomes a shared ritual or an intensification of the desire for something that goes beyond their own being.

The evening culminates in sharing the dance floor with a DJ set by Jaro Viňarský, an open invitation to move together. This shared space shifts attention from observation to participation, from individual experience to collective rhythm. Whether visitors come to dance, observe or simply be, the dance floor becomes a place of connection, relaxation and mutual energy.
