7 km of hiking and lots of experiences await you on this trip. We will take the cable car to Větruša in Ústí nad Labem and then a 6 km educational trail awaits us over the Vaňovský waterfall, the Masaryk lock up to the Střekov castle. After visiting the castle, we will go another 1 km to the railway station and take the train to Libochovan, from here we will have a Porta Bohemica boat cruise and beautiful views of the České středohoří and Brána Cech.
Program:
* 6.47 - departure by express train from Prague, central
* possibility to arrive by road: Prague - Holešovice 6.57, Prague - Podbaba 7.02 Kralupy nad Vltavou 7.19, Roudnice nad Labem 7.44, in Lovosice at 7.59 and Ústí nad Labem at 8.16
* arrival in Ústí nad Labem at 8.16
* transfer to the cable car to Větruš, exit by cable car - price 40 CZK (not included in the price of the trip)
* 6 km hiking route via Vaňovský waterfall, Masarykovo zdymadlo to Střekov castle
* for those interested, a tour of Střekov castle. As part of the tour, you will visit all the preserved parts of the castle, including the castle terrace and the citadel, which offers a wonderful view of the Elbe Valley, the city and its surroundings. The tour takes place individually with a borrowed text, the price of the tour is 170 CZK, for students and seniors 140 CZK

VAŇOVSKY WATERFALL
Vaňovský Waterfall is one of the highest in the Bohemian Highlands and is one of the most famous and most visited waterfalls of the destination. The water of the Podlešín stream falls from a wall about 12 meters high. Not far from the waterfall is another natural attraction, the Vrkoč rock formation, which is a national natural monument known mainly for the columnar decomposition of basalt. There is also a nice view of the Elbe Valley, Střekov Castle, the locks, parts of the town of Ústí nad Labem and the surrounding landscape of the Czech Central Highlands.
STŘEKOV CASTLE
The ruins of a Gothic castle built at the beginning of the 14th century are located on a 250-meter high, steep rock above the Elbe River at the edge of Ústí nad Labem, approximately 90 km north of Prague. It is one of the most visited cultural monuments in northern Bohemia every year. You can visit the castle as part of a tour, there are regular festivals and programs for children, and there is a restaurant in the area.
PORTA BOHEMICA - BRÁNA ČECH
Voyage on the boat of the same name with the possibility of refreshments. An unforgettable view of the Gate of Bohemia is from the deck of a ship sailing in both directions between Ústí nad Labem and Litoměřice. In the immediate vicinity of Brány Čech, there are extensive vineyards where the so-called Žernosek wine is grown, which is one of the best in Bohemia.
