About event
How to collect and identify mushrooms correctly? And how can you contribute to scientific knowledge with your mushroom findings?
Join our practical workshop with mycologist Ján Červenka.
During the introductory lecture combined with demonstrations of fruiting bodies of various shapes and colors, we will learn what to look for in mushrooms. Together we will show how to identify mushrooms or record their characteristics and how to prepare a mushroom herbarium. During a walk through Bratislava's forest park, we will put mycological theory into practice. Each participant will receive an illustrated guide - leporelo "Mushrooms growing on wood". Adults and children are welcome and don't forget your basket ;)
We will combine the event in the field with mushroom monitoring as part of the civic science initiative Živá Bratislava.
