About event
Sunday screening of films and discussion with director Viliam Poltikovich
In the Red Resoning Circle (59 minutes)
It is sacred to Buddhists, Hindus, Jainists and Bönists. Kailas has the shape of a pyramid, on each side of it under it, the Great Asian River springs, it is considered to be the axis of the universe, the center of the world. Kailas is located in Western Tibet and the road around him rebuilds mentally and physically the most demanding religious pilgrimage on our country. The pilgrimage circuit symbolizes the stages of life, death, the state between death and other birth and the stage of new life. Indeed, spiritual values in the life of the Tibetans clearly exceed material values. A remarkable and inspiring for us is the Tibetan concept of death. The Tibetans prepare for death during their lives, get rid of fear of it and take it as a chance, divide a new and better life in an endless cycle of existence in different spheres of being. Similarly, the attitude of every Tibetan is inspiring - he knows that it will only be happy when everyone around is happy and therefore sympathizes with all beings.
Bratislava received the Ján Langoš International Award for the fight for human rights and started the magical exhibition Magic Himalayas, which and his accompaniment hit him very pleasantly. He then flew to Prague, where he was a guest of the Forum 2000 international conference. He does not defend his interests, he is humanity as a whole, we are all interconnected, divided into me and you, and you, is just a source of problems. He emphasizes that an ancient concept where I have to win and defeat the enemy is over, ceases to apply. The film shows international and Czech personalities such as Frederik Willem de Klerk, Václav Havel, Pavel Bém, Eva Holubová or Helena Houdová, what the Dalai Lama means and what inspires them
