The monodrama of the prominent Czech playwright Arnošt Goldflam brings a view of the (almost) normal working day of the inconspicuous announcer in the cinema. After a technical failure, she has to face the audience and gets the space to say out loud everything she has just thought so far. In the spirit of Goldflam's poetics, a story develops in the eyes of the audience in which everyday life is unobtrusively breaking into absurd. And what if he never wants to leave from that moment? What is hiding behind a smile of a woman who welcomes strangers in the dark hall every day? What if a small gesture becomes a manifestation of power? Can the inconspicuous announcement become a dictator? r. o
