Using Play as a Vehicle to Promote Literacy in the Early Years Classroom

Literacy grows best where play thrives.

Play isn’t a break from learning—it is learning.

In early childhood, literacy doesn’t start with worksheets. It begins in pretend kitchens, puppet corners, and storytelling circles—where language comes alive through imagination and interaction.

Join us for Using Play as a Vehicle to Promote Literacy in the Early Years Classroom, where we explore how to embed foundational literacy into play-rich environments. Discover how playful experiences can build vocabulary, phonemic awareness, storytelling skills, and a genuine love of reading.

If you believe literacy should be joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate—this workshop is for you.
