Unboxing The Future of Food

Discover how food can fix the planet. What if climate-friendly food were as accessible as fast food?

Sustainable food shouldn’t be a luxury, it should be the new normal.

What if climate-friendly food were as accessible as fast food?

What if innovation didn’t just serve the few, but worked for all?

This is the fourth event in our five-part series “Unboxing The Future of Berlin’s Startup Ecosystem”, in collaboration with Startup Berlin by Berlin Partner.

This time, we unbox the future live with key players in the food industry in Berlin and in Europe to explore how Berlin can lead the global shift toward a food system that’s sustainable, inclusive, and radically collaborative:

• Lia Carlucci, scientist turned entrepreneur, CEO of Food Campus Berlin, and co-founder of Women in Climate Tech
• Daniel Bosman: CEO & Founder @Our Greenery. Daniel is on a mission to transform how we grow and access fresh, nutrient-rich food, directly where we live, work, learn, and recover.
• Leonardo Nunes Ricucci, Investment Associate at ProVeg Incubator, the world's first and one of the leading startup accelerator programs for foodtech startups aiming to eliminate animals from the food system.
• Dr. Verónica Garcá Artge, CEO&Founder of Neggst. At Neggst, they are creating a future where delicious, eco-friendly alternatives to animal products are the new norm.

Topics we’ll unbox:

• Why food causes 30% of global emissions, and how we change that

• How food waste becomes a billion-euro business
• Why Berlin is the testbed for climate innovation
• From founder to movement-builder
• Why collaboration beats competition in the new economy

The evening includes a special preview of Lia’s full Unboxing episode, behind-the-scenes insights, and an open discussion with the audience.

And of course, in pure Unboxing style, live electronic jam session!
