About event
Dear teachers, we invite you to have an extraordinary experience right in the theater. The work of a teacher brings with it various challenges, in which it is necessary to withstand and at the same time pass on more than just information to the students. This unique format of the workshop will help you better prepare for the challenges of everyday school reality and at the same time help you improve your communication and presentation skills and encourage you to be creative in the teaching process. , which will be presented by the Ján Palárik Theatre. The production is a stage adaptation of the Man Booker Prize-winning novel by the Hungarian writer L. Krasznahorkai. In its concept, its director Roman Polák calls for the search for an optimistic way out: "In the simplicity of being and stepping out of the brutality of everyday life comes a pragmatic awareness of the value of life." With this perspective, Polák seeks a balance between hopelessness and hope in everyday reality.
< br/>Through what can individuals like us enrich society? What role does collective experience play in overcoming personal and social crises?
Dramatic methods allow us to empathize with others, relax or open up to new perspectives, acquire the ability to reflect on situations from a different point of view, develop sensitivity towards the needs of others and at the same time strengthen community ties. The goal is for you to feel not only as teachers, but also as an active part of the community, which can stand firm even in moments when the "dominoes" in the school environment begin to shake.
