About event
Do you want to try curling? Or have you tried curling before and want to play a real curling tournament? Tournaments for the public, organized in our Třešňovka sports center, allow you to do all this. Build a team of 4 people (plus you can have up to two substitutes - so max. 6 people) and sign up for a specific date. But if you don't have a team and you're an individual or a couple, it doesn't matter! We will assemble the team for you. Sign up individual people and we will let you know if it was successful a week before the tournament.
So what awaits you at our place: during the first lesson you will try curling under the guidance of the instructors, learn its basics and then you will be fully engaged play. Each match is played over two regular ends. Depending on the number of teams, a schedule of matches will be prepared, with at least 4 matches waiting for you. The last matches are the finals and the match for third place. Then follows the announcement of the winners and, of course, well-deserved refreshments at our bar. The winner of the game is always only one team, but the other team doesn't have to be sad, because they "win" the drink - according to curling's unwritten rules, the winning team always invites the other team for a drink.
Our team at Centra Třešňovka will do everything because so that you can enjoy not only curling as such, but also the real tournament atmosphere. You can also look forward to interesting prizes for the winners!
Instructions for curling:
Arrive at the event 20 minutes early.
Your own clean indoor shoes are required for curling !!!
Don't forget to dress appropriately, it's about 5°C in the hall.
We recommend elastic trousers and a warm sweatshirt, possibly also a cap and gloves.
For changing clothes, you can use the changing rooms of the Třešňovka Center, there are also showers and toilets in the same area.
