TU Wien Best Practice Workshop
Event by: TU Wien
Location: TU the Sky, Getreidemarkt 9, Wien - Mariahilf
About event
Current research on data-driven improvements in work processes: In this interactive workshop, solutions for problems of the economy are discussed using practical reports on risks and success factors.
Economic and demographic trends increase the pressure on existing weaknesses in the world of work: information silos, lack of understanding of the process, lack of data quality, loss of knowledge through unsuitable onboarding of new personnel and risks in IT security are among the biggest pain points. At the same time, the digitization of processes and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) offers enormous opportunities for increasing efficiency and improvement in quality. But how does a successful digitization project succeed?
Digitization projects often focus on technology, but fail because of the insufficient understanding of processes, lack of data quality or lack of support for improvements by field experts: inside and management. The typical project risks are unclear goals, unrealistic expectations and inadequate management of resources and priorities. Scientific work from Information Systems Engineering (ISE) , Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence < /Em> In this application -oriented workshop, paths show how a wide variety of challenges in the world of work can be countered.
Researchers from the Vienna University of Technology present practical solutions for typical/current challenges.
Why do you take part in the workshop? Benefit from:
- expertise for understanding and improving processes, as a prerequisite for data analysis and KI
- TU Expertise on data analysis and AI methods
- conveying practical experience with the "Process Outace Overstanding and Improvement" method, using the discussion of applications in practice with risk and success factors.
- Successful practical examples that use innovative information systems, for example for agile observation of processes or for efficient, adaptable error diagnosis. Win projects for practitioners: Inside and researchers: inside
- an interactive workshop design with innovative type of moderation.
