Truman Show

DOX invites you to a summer movie night under the stars. Viewers can be moved by the film The Truman Show.

The film The Truman Show explores the power of the media and the increasingly blurred line between reality and its media or virtual image. Truman Burbank has no idea until he is almost thirty years old that he has been living in huge film studios since birth and that he is the star of a television series with worldwide popularity and high viewership. In addition, the creator of the popular series, director and producer Christof, has absolute control over Truman's life. However, the biggest problem for Truman in the end is not to realize the true state of affairs, but to decide to leave a false, but at the same time so safe and perfect world... The film is inspired by American TV series, based on capturing reality, and in its conclusion unexpectedly grows into a modern allegory of the biblical motif - expulsion from paradise.
