About event

!!! Unfortunately, we have to postpone this event due to health reasons !!!
Come to the Toy Library for a fun and meaningful morning, during which we will discover together how toys can travel between families, be exchanged and get a new life! 💛
Together we will explore different ways families can pass toys on and through games and hands-on activities we will learn about fairness, the value of things and generosity.
Program
🛍️ Learning about fairness in trading
We will start by showing how buying and selling work. We will talk about what makes a fair price and how people determine the value of a toy.
🧸 Toy market
Children will experience the toy market in a playful way - they will buy, sell and decide between different options.
♻️ We learn about the fairness of exchange
Then we will focus on fair exchange and talk about what it means to exchange something of value for something else another.
🔄 Toy Swap
Bring in toys your kids no longer play with and exchange them for "new" treasures that will get them excited again. Toys should be clean and in good, usable condition so they can easily find a new home.
🎁 Benefits of Donating
Together we will also explore the joy and benefits of giving. Families can bring toys they no longer need and donate them to others - helping others and reducing the amount of waste at the same time. We will use them in a future repair workshop, where together we will bring them back to life. Incomplete toys are also welcome, which can be used for creative creation and new use.
During the entire event, families will have space to meet, chat and enjoy a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. A play corner will be prepared for small children, while parents can chat and look at the range of toys.
Entrance fee is 200 CZK per family.
We look forward to sharing stories, ideas and toys together!
