Tok-sen is a traditional Thai technique using wooden sticks. In Thailand, you will find it mostly in the north in the region around Chiangmai, where it has been practiced for over 5,000 years, whose foundations come from China. It is a rhythmic knocking method using a special wooden hammer and wedge combined with Thai acupressure points that create healing vibrations deep into the muscle fiber in the body. This "rediscovered" ancient technique is surprisingly effective and is not even painful.
