The comedy TIK TIK captivates the audience right from the start with its unusualness and lively humor. In the psychiatrist's waiting room, three men and three women meet, of different ages, occupations, and fates. They share the same problem: they suffer from a "tic", if you will, an obsessive neurosis that is difficult to live with. An elderly publisher spews foul words at inappropriate times, a taxi driver turns everything into numbers, a woman keeps washing her hands for fear of bacteria, another checks her purse and lives in stress that she forgot to turn off the gas, lock the apartment, a young man is not allowed to step on the line and a girl, which repeats its closing sentences. Everyone believes in the help of a world-renowned expert, with whom they had to make an appointment long in advance. But he apologized for the delay of the plane and also his subsequent journey by car means a time delay. Patients overcome inhibitions and get to know each other's "tics". During the long wait, they also play "monopoly" and finally try group therapy themselves, in which they overcome their obsessions dramatically and with the cheering of the others, at least for a while. The effort to help each other flashes into comical situations, and the feeling that they are not alone with their problems turns into a conviction of how important it is to find the courage to establish friendship, maybe even love...
The author brilliantly controls mood swings, humor that unfailingly elicits laughter, and ultimately a touch of people in need of human connection. He imaginatively managed the surprising ending of the game. With his unconventional characters, he prepared great acting opportunities for Tereza Kostková, Kristýna Frejová, Šárka Kubíková, Josef Polášek, Václav Knop, Jaromír Nosko. The director of the production is Jakub Nvota.
