Thin Skin

The performance of Eliška Brtnická's established circus acrobats is characterized by procedures that are more common in contemporary foreign circuse than on the domestic scene. In addition, her work is characterized by distinctive artistic elements. Those that open up new possibilities of moving the human body, thus forming a unique atmosphere and bringing deeper messages. In Thin Skin, Eliška Brtnická kinetic installation creates "levitating" thin bars and human bodies. Body and material - two elements in one space whose existence depends on each other. Three performers in the performance thoroughly test their center of gravity and center of gravity. Everything is a cruel issue of time. Moving statues disappear as quickly as they appeared. The body is imprinted in matter, the image in the mind, time bends. Thin Skin is fragility, vulnerability, instability. Basic admission 340 CZK | Students, seniors and ZTP 250 CZK
