About event
Those affected with ASD show particular stereotypical gaming behavior. They prefer object-related serial forms of play that offer security. The reason for this is a lack of ability to imitate and model orientation. Well-structured game sequences also offer children with ASD the opportunity to take part in the game and are stimulated by a variety of different forms of play.
This workshop will show how active cooperation can begin from playful forms of intervention. This change is a positive step towards reducing anxiety and increasing the ability to have adequate play interactions with peers.
Goals
- Show the development of forms of play in childhood: functional games – movement games – role plays – rule games
- Experience fun with controlled play in individual and group settings
- Safety through structure in theme-centered game chains Provide
- Provide well-being through sensory - integrative stimuli
- Find a counterpart in alternating play
- Perceive space for change
