About event
Founded in Berlin in 2008 by the American mastermind and singer Robert Ryan and bassist Ralf Sommer, the band has just released their sixth album “Coming Home” (Rhythm Bomb / Shack Rouser) and the mix of roadhouse blues, rockabilly and Americana for which they are so known live has never been as close together as on this album.
In the last ten years the band has already played over 900 shows, including as tour support for THE BOSSHOSS, IMELDA MAY, THE MAVERICKS or REVOLVERHELD, played all over Europe and secured a place in the upper league of new roots bands in the music scene from Stockholm to Rome.
Their sound, which the Rob Ryan Roadshow calls ROOTS MUSIC EXPLOSION, is a mix of Memphis and Bakersfield, Hank 3, Iggy Pop and the steamy rockabilly of Ronnie Dawsons.
In their unique musical mix, this lively, explosive band presents a rousing live show when it's finally time again in the ALT-BERLINER BIERSALON:
