About event
The Klezmatics oslávia 40 rokov na scéne koncertom v Slovenskom rozhlase
Legendárna americká skupina The Klezmatics, jedna z najvýraznejších formácií modernej židovskej hudby, vystúpi 8. novembra v Slovenskom rozhlase v Bratislave.
The Klezmatics sú držiteľmi ceny Grammy a dodnes zostávajú výnimočným fenoménom svetovej hudobnej scény. Ich koncerty sú oslavou radosti, energie, emócie a hudobnej slobody, no zároveň v sebe nesú silné posolstvo otvorenosti, ľudskosti a kultúrneho dialógu.
Bratislavský koncert bude súčasťou ich výnimočného turné pri príležitosti 40. výročia kapely a prinesie strhujúci večer plný extatickej hudby, virtuóznych výkonov a neopakovateľnej atmosféry.
THE KLEZMATICS — 40TH ANNIVERSARY EUROPEAN TOUR 2026
The Grammy-winning klezmer superstars celebrate 40 years of fearless music-making with songs of protest, resilience, and radical joy.
The Klezmatics return to Europe this November with their 40th Anniversary program and acclaimed new album, We Were Made For These Times, performing at festivals and concert venues across nine cities in seven countries.
For four decades, The Klezmatics have been at the forefront of global roots music, transforming Yiddish musical traditions into a bold, cross-cultural sound that feels more urgent and relevant than ever.
Blending klezmer with Black gospel, Latin rhythms, and avant-jazz, their new album celebrates solidarity, resistance, and the power of music to bring people together. Featuring extraordinary collaborators including Sofía Rei, Joshua Nelson, Lavender Light Gospel Choir, Enver İzmaylov, William Parker, James Brandon Lewis, Janis Siegel, and La Manga, the album embodies the band's fearless creative spirit.
Four decades on, The Klezmatics remain as adventurous, outspoken, and joyfully defiant as ever.
