The Kik in Tolhuistuin

Please note: this concert has been moved from Paradiso to Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam North. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new location.

The Kik, Dave von Raven's band, is back with the new hit single 'Daggie Niet Gelachen'. The cheerful song is an ode to life and conviviality. It refers to the wise lessons that Von Raven received from his grandmother and is - you could say - Dave's favorite song. "A daggie without laughter is a daggie not lived."

'Daggie Niet Gelachen' is the first single from the new album 'Bal Popculaire'. A collection of new-fangled life songs. Recorded in the legendary Telstar Studios in Weert.

The Kik consists of Dave von Raven, Marcel Groenewegen, Arjan Spies, Kees Schaper and Paul Zoontjes. To date, the band has made four of its own albums (Springlevend, 2, Stad en Land, JIN), an album with Armand, a cover album (Hertaalt!) and a live double LP (Boudewijn de Groot's Voor de Survivers & Picnick). The band also produced three of its own theater performances (De Veelste Grote Nederbiet Show, Met de Deur in Huis and Hertaalt!).
