The team of the century 2026 live in Germany ** The exclusive presale starts on July 25, 2025

Next year the Harlem Globetrotters will celebrate 100 years: a whole century full of style, skills and show. With their “100 Years World Tour” they are bringing basketball back to arenas around the world on a new level and are also stopping off in Germany in the spring - with a basketball spectacle that celebrates their history and ushers in the next era.

From Chicago to the world

What began in Chicago in 1926 as a courageous step against exclusion became a worldwide legend. A team of African-American players shook up the sport with skill, charisma and a game that changed everything. Today the name Harlem Globetrotters is a synonym worldwide for spectacular basketball - and for show sports that no one else plays. But instead of resting on their laurels, they go one better with every show. This tour is not a look back - it is a statement: Their style of play today is as creative, explosive and inspiring as never before - and continues to influence great players from the NBA and Co. to this day.

Basketball on a level of its own

The focus is on sport. But not just anyone. Trick throws from your own half, dunks with lots of air time, ball control in high-speed mode, passing sequences like from a video game. Everything with perfect timing, humor and a real show feeling. The Harlem Globetrotters don't just master the game - they perform with the ball, surprise their audience and push the boundaries between athleticism and artistry. That's exactly what makes them icons in Jersey - for generations.

Showtime for the whole family

What the Harlem Globetrotters can do brings every hall to a boil. Anyone who has ever been there knows that it's not just a place to play - it's a place where people cheer, laugh and marvel. The court becomes the stage, the audience the crew. Grandparents, parents, teens, kids – everyone celebrates together in a spectacle that perfectly combines speed, humor and emotion. And in the middle of it all: the crowd favorites Globie and Big G. With moves, gags and lots of charm, they carry everyone along - family entertainment at its best.

Right in the middle instead of just there

With the Celebrity Court Pass, the experience begins before the first basket is made - during the warm-up directly on the playing field. The Magic Pass offers exclusive encounters, selfies and autographs with the stars. And the players' bench fan ticket allows you to sit directly on the bench of the Harlem Globetrotters or their long-term rivals, the Washington Generals - it doesn't get any closer than that. This is more than just watching - it's right in the middle, live, unforgettable.

Moments for eternity

When the Harlem Globetrotters defeated the top team of the era - the Minneapolis Lakers - twice in 1948 and 1949, they made sports history. In 1950, Nathaniel “Sweetwater” Clifton became the first African-American basketball player to sign an NBA contract. Just a year later they played in front of over 75,000 fans in Berlin's Olympic Stadium - a legendary moment. In the 70s they became cartoon heroes on US TV, in 1982 they received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 1985 Lynette Woodard created another chapter in history: As the first woman in the team, she set a strong example for equality and diversity. In 2002, the Harlem Globetrotters were inducted into the basketball hall of fame - the legendary Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Records, relevance, reach

Personalities such as Nelson Mandela, Pope Francis and Whoopi Goldberg became honorary Globetrotters - a sign of the global appeal of this team. Today the players celebrate records on all stages: with their show in 124 countries, with over 150 million fans worldwide and with a record hunt that leaves a clear mark in the Guinness Book. They have long been a digital phenomenon: over 4.2 million followers follow the Harlem Globetrotters on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Co. - a community as colorful and exciting as their shows.

More than a game

The Globetrotters also show attitude off the court. They visit schools, advocate for education and integration and stand for respect, tolerance and togetherness worldwide. For her, basketball is more than sport - it is encounter, movement, connection.

An experience with heart and attitude

The "100 Years World Tour" brings her story to where she is at home - on the court. And it shows how basketball becomes a real experience: fast, funny, emotional. The Harlem Globetrotters connect what separates others - high performance and fun, show and skills, sport and soul.
