A trip to Ireland - at least musically. That's exactly what the Dublin Legends concerts are. Real folk fans may know the musicians better under the legendary name The Dubliners. They performed on German soil for the first time half a century ago. However, the band broke up when frontman John Sheahan sadly retired in 2012.
But the legend lives!
The Dublin Legends, the descendants of the legendary Irish folk group, are returning to Germany in 2025. Also in their ranks: the singer and guitarist Sean Cannon, who has been a member and heart of the group since 1982.
When The Dublin Legends enter the stage, within a few minutes you have the feeling that you are sitting in an Irish pub. You feel the beating heart of Ireland, stories about sailors are told, fiery romances and unhappy loves are sung, all that's missing is the cool Guinness in your hand.
Sean Cannon, Gerry O'Connor, Shay Kavanagh and Paul Watchorn - these are the four incredibly talented artists behind the name. Nobody brings their enthusiasm, no other band can make you feel the Irish way of life more. The Dublin Legends play Irish folk exactly as it should be - from the heart.
