Hommage á Béla Bartók
We gain an insight into the historical "kaleidoscope" of Hungarian times, as a rapid succession of colorfully swirling
changes, through the male world of Hungarian folk dances. A colorful selection of Béla Bartók's
classical piano works, two worlds, two male dance solos, two
urban-verbunk microcosms and their endless variations.
We plan our current folk dance-theatre presentation in one act with an individual, distinctive tone,
circling the relations between our existence in the big city and Hungarian traditional culture. In the creative
process on stage, we choreographed the dance music played on the traditional folk violin and the piano pieces based on
them.
...we could not walk this path without Bartók's heritage...
our task is to remember and move forward...

Nahliadneme do historico "kaleidoskopu" majarských chias – do pestrofarebne víriach sa zmien, odohrávíchúc sa v gyrykom slede za sebů, onomského sveta majarských ľudových tancov. Bélu Bartóka plays a varied selection of piano pieces - two scenes, two male dance solos, two urban verb microcosms and their endless variations. V tvorivom javiskovom procese sme choreographicky právádali músud tradíkoných ľudových huslí aj pianonne skámky kéi z nej túmpajú.
