"What to take on?" Sometimes people choose practical clothes, sometimes according to opportunity or last fashion. Life can make life easier, but also reduce and dictate how to dispose of your body. Dress, underwear, accessories, shoes, but also jewelry - everything people wear is a way of communication, whether with the surroundings or with themselves. Participants will look at these wearable objects during a guided tour in the permanent exhibition Art, Life. They will see a large set of women's clothing from Bohemia and Central Europe since the 18th century. It was during this period that the phenomenon of the so -called fast fashion - fast fashion that targets trends and surprises, often intended to dress only once. How quickly did these trends pass? Were some of them viable for a long time? And what about jewelry and accessories - subject to the same fashion waves, or could they resist them? Tereza Hrdlička.
