What is necessary for a good home? New trends, or rather proven traditions? Should it calm or accelerate the home? Is it enough for it to be practically served or inspired? Is minimalism or a lot of beautiful, though ineffective things? And what about the equipment - is supposed to be from the hands of a craftsman or industrial production? The exhibition will find a large number of furniture produced or designed in the Czech lands, but also a surprisingly rich collection of Italian plastic furniture, which came into the collections thanks to an exceptional exhibition in 1972. Life will be led by art historian Mgr. Tereza Hrdlička.
