Robots, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and student inventions. Prague 8 will belong to technology in June.
The Prague 8 district, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Smíchovská Middle School, is preparing a large open-air festival TechDays Prague 8, which from June 15 to 18 will transform the square and KD Kraków into a center of modern technology and education. The legendary robotic dog from Boston Dynamics, known from technology videos and world fairs, will move directly among festival visitors. Other attractions include the Wienerberger brick-laying robot, ŠKODA Auto simulators, the VR ReakTour from ČEZ, the Škoda Enyaq SportLine electric car, the Kolben Racing student formula, humanoid robots, the Spectra and Space Academy rocket projects or the F-18 mini simulator.
The program will also include workshops, interactive demonstrations and student projects that connect schools, technology and practice.
"We want to show children that technical education can to be modern, creative and fun. TechDays is not just a festival of technology, but mainly an investment in the future of the young generation. I am glad that Prague 8 can be a place where children can really touch technology and find out that the future can also be their professional path," says the Deputy Mayor of Prague 8 for Education, Matěj Fichtner.
