Teatro do Frio - Motion [Performance][Participação]

Motion is a research and creation project that crosses procedures and methodologies of theater and contemporary dance with the context of the visual arts. The result is a performative proposal developed from the experience of the visitor of the Culturgest art galleries.

inspired by the process of manifestations, a multidisciplinary project originally created from auscultations to different public spaces of the city of Porto (Mexa, 2021), Motion exposes the theater of the cold, for a week, to contact the various bodies that inhabit the gallery - works, visitor - visitor - visitor Physical and sensitive listening. Following this experience, the same cast takes the stage of the small auditorium to share and expand orally and performatically, before and with the presence of the public, the sparkles and fissures of these meetings. That, there is a lack of another vocabulary, we may better call performance.
