ℹ️ Photo exhibition capturing the true face of Tanzania, from the endless plains of the savanna to the dust of the roads to a glimpse into the everyday life of the Maasai.
📅 1.4. – 31.5. 2026. The photographs capture moments that are exotic for the visitor to the exhibition, but essential for the local Maasai - morning rituals with cattle, the colors of traditional shuka fabrics in contrast with the arid earth, and the indomitable energy of children in the bush.
By visiting the exhibition, you symbolically enter the story of helping the community in the Maasai village of Elerai in northern Tanzania. Hanka, the author of most of the photos, who supports the development of sustainable agriculture through her activities. The association Prožij Česko, z.s., in turn provides us with retired mobile phones and runs a bookstore - a small but important thing. Children and adults can thus borrow books, learn to read, and expand their horizons. Education is key if a community is to survive in a future that will be different from the past of their ancestors.
