Ivana Ecetová Quartet - Tango project is a professional musical group centered around the singer Ivana Ecetová, focused on the interpretation of Argentine tango, primarily in the Tango Nuevo style. This style, whose founder and most important representative was the composer and performer Astor Piazzolla, represents a synthesis of Argentine folklore, classical music and jazz elements. The ensemble's repertoire is supplemented with works by authors of traditional Argentine tango, such as Carlos Gardel or Sebastián Piana.

The dramaturgy of the project is built on the contrast of passion, temperament and nostalgia, which are characteristic of the musical culture of South America. Emotive songs in Argentine Spanish, as well as instrumental tangos and milongas are interpreted in a special artistic treatment with an emphasis on authenticity, expressive depth and interpretive quality.

The project brings the audience a complex artistic experience in which musical virtuosity, expressive emotionality and cultural value of Argentine tango are combined. In the music of the Ivana Ecetová Quartet, passion, melancholy, and vital energy blend into a coherent artistic form.

The interpreters of the project are Ivana Ecetová, Matúš Ferko, Iveta Vojtušová and Ana Vyparinová Krsmanovič, experienced professional artists with a strong interpretation and a feeling for the tango nuevo style.
