About event
Tamino with a new album in autumn for two shows in Germany
Taminos Third album "Every Dawn's A Mountain" will be released on March 21, 2025 and follows Sahar (2022) and his debut Amir (2018). The third album was mainly written in Tamino's new home New York City and marks a new beginning for an artist who has already made headlines in almost all of Europe and in the Middle East and recently invited to play in the great pyramid of Giza; whose songs and stories have amazed friends and fans like David Byrne, Lana Del Rey, Mitski and Colin Greenwood from Radiohead.
Songs published so far in Taminos such as "Indigo Night", "Habibi", "Sunflower", or recently "Babylon", "Sanctuary" and "Willow" merging the classic pop and Folk songwriters with longing, poetry and art of traditional Egyptian sounds. His voice glows continuously and changes from deep and humid at a moment and to a flickering falsetta in the next.
"Using music to convey deeper messages is the key to Tamino's work," says "The Guardian". "This prompted many to compare it to the late American singer Jeff Buckley, but with orchestral arrangements that refer to his Arabic descent. Tamino himself said about the new record that she was the first album on which he tried to tackle his previously very intuitive songwriting:" To build altar what has been lost.
