Monographic Workshop in Spanish «The new Rioja in the centenary of Doca Rioja 2025» taught by Roberto Ramírez - Official educator of Rioja wines. Age, from 18 years.

Tasting (30 minutes)
Selection for the tasting of the participants of the 3 -wine workshop representative of the different varieties of grapes and sub -regions of the denomination: East Rioja, Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. Experience
In northern Spain, on both banks of the Ebro River and between the Sierra de Cantabria and the Sierra de la Demanda, there is the historic Vinícola region of Rioja. One of the 5 most prestigious regions in the world with its wines, currently present in 136 countries, also in Czech Republic. The growing reputation of its wines gave rise to the recognition in 1925 of Rioja, the first denomination of origin of Spain. Roberto Ramírez, expert and senior technician in viticulture. That will guide you for this exciting experience of the discovery of the new Rioja. The experience will end with a tasting of 3 representative wines of the subregions of the denomination to implement the previous knowledge acquired. His passion for the world of wine and his training as a Higher Technician in Vitiviniculture and Mining Engineer Specialized in Geology, determines his way of working, analyzing the technical aspects of the Terroir in combination with the quality in the elaboration of wines to meet the needs of customers. His knowledge has allowed him to specialize in the selection of exclusive wines of family wineries with limited productions in Doca Rioja, in short: a treasure search engine. Rioja ”, with attention to the appearance of a new transverse classification of singular vineyard, municipality wines, area; of winemakers and winemakers that produce varietal mono wines, some minority varieties and unknown to the general public, preserving the freshness and fruit of the variety. Wines that occur sustainably and limitedly, respecting the environment and traditional practices, knowing who is behind and how it produces it.
