Takuya Kuroda

Takuya Kurod will perform in jazz dock. Since the publication of the prized Midnight Crisp (2022), marked by Dopmatters magazine as "future classic", the Kurod continues to seek to find balance between studio production and live expression. For more than twenty years he studied at The New School, worked with DJ Premier’s Badder Band and Akoya Afrobeat and published on brands like Blue Note or Concord. Everyday : Everyday as a process, rhythm and philosophy. David Frazier's solid base pulsates Groov, singing melodies and moments like 'Bad Bye' with vocalist Fija, or the final curiosity , where the Kurod replaces the trumpet for the folk. The result is a deeply personal album, but accessible - connecting tradition and present in music, which is unique and yet naturally alive.
