About event
Tahsim Durgun alias tahdur brings his stories live to the stage and takes you on a journey through the madness of everyday life between two cultures.
In his show “Mama, please learn German”, inspired by his book of the same name, which was published in March 2025, Tahsim talks about the small and large absurdities of his life with his usual cynical humor and a touch of self-irony.
Success, that speaks for itself: Tahsim is a comedian, content creator and author. As a winner of the “Grimme Online Award 2024”, the “Blue Panther 2024” and the “VideoDays 2024”, he inspires over a million followers on his social media channels with his unique humor.
His topics are as diverse as his audience: racism, identity, migration and the eternal feeling of being caught between two chairs. With poetic moments and astute observations, Tahsim manages to make the reality of life of the post-migrant generation tangible: “Mama, please learn German” is essentially a homage to his mother. The audience can expect a mix of everyday anecdotes and stories from his book - combined with surprising live elements and lots of laughs.
With his unmistakable style and sharp humor, Tahsim gives you an evening that offers the perfect antidote to the daily grind. The show is for everyone who knows the feeling of living between cultures and likes to look at difficult topics with humor.
