Swingless Jazz Ensemble

Swingless Jazz Ensemble – the old, stylish times of Bratislava, Pressburg, Prešpork, Possony and the music of the First Republic.

Today, the Swingless Jazz Ensemble, now a senior, internationally cast group, was originally created as a student jazz orchestra, which was composed of students from Nitra ZUŠ and conservatories. Two dozen musicians play the standard jazz repertoire supplemented with compositions in Latin American rhythms, musicals and rock melodies. As its conductor, Martin Štourač, said: "There are many ways to engage the listener with music, but feeling the power of a jazz orchestra live will probably forever remain something special." Swingless Jazz Ensemble concerts are exciting, full of energy and joy.
