About event
How do you work with a topic that is loaded with emotions? Why do houses like Don Giovanni or the Dancing House still evoke strong reactions? The discussion with the authors of the book DEVADE, which opened up the topic of contradictory architecture of the 90s, is moderated by journalist Karolína Vránková.

📖 The 31st year of the international book fair and literary festival Prague Book World is slowly but surely approaching! Holešovice. As every year, we are preparing a rich program, interesting talks, autograph signings, meetings with your favorite writers.
The program will focus on three interrelated topics – Europe, history and literature as the voice of freedom. The dramaturgical concept is based on Milan Kundera's quote "The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting" and reflects the role of literature in times of social and political change. The festival will present domestic and foreign publishers and a rich international program. New this year will be World of Books Plus, a Sunday afternoon program block connecting literature with other forms of art.
