The “night films” at the witching hour: A series about the big city feeling, nightlife, the frivolous and the spooky.
Some productions were even banned for young people when they were released in cinemas.
The BABYLON began almost ago 100 years on April 10, 1929 as a #silent film cinema. The tradition of cinema palaces - still alive today in London and Los Angeles - came back to Berlin in the Babylon with our permanent cinema organist Anna Vavilkina: In addition to silent films, she also plays almost every day before film screenings and live events.
This is unique in the German cinema scene.
