We are sounding the alarm!
We are sounding the alarm because in Slovakia we are watching an attempt to stealthily normalize society through state power.
A year and a half before the elections, the government is considering canceling the possibility of a postal election, because its preferential results are recorded by the opposition.
STVR threatens to fire employees who opposed the fact that public television and radio became a tool of the government for political struggle.
For now, the Prime Minister campaigns behind closed doors in schools with students, but avoids public discussion. Instead of solving the housing crisis, green policy, lack of teachers or the departure of young people abroad, the topic is bloody Russian oil and extortion of Ukraine.
The chaos in which we live, constantly questioned facts, fabricated scandals and the search for a public enemy is an environment in which fascism flourishes.
And we are only a year and a half before the elections.
This protest is called by students across Slovakia, but anyone can come. We want to show continued strength and determination to defend our lives in this country against normalization and dragging Slovakia into Russia's sphere of influence.
