🎥 Silver (Silver). Director: Natalia Koniarz, PL/NO/FI, 2025, 79 min, Spanish + English subtitles (📢 𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦)

In an inhospitable, almost lunar land, miners live with their families in the shadow of a silver mine, where daily work brings a constant risk of death. The film follows their physically exhausting toil as well as the silent rituals of faith that help them endure a reality full of danger and poverty. Polish director Natalia Koniarz with empathy and visual precision reveals not only the everyday life of the local community, but also the wider historical context, the colonial roots of European wealth, the price of progress and the imbalance of the world, which stands on the invisible work of others. region.
