About event
Beyond the city in the 12th century. a monastery is established on Mount Mons Sion, which has been inhabited by Premonstratensians or "white brothers" since the beginning. They have their international headquarters in Strahov and, of course, the monastery is still inhabited by them today. Participants will talk about ancient and contemporary history.
During the walk, participants will see:
- Church of St. Rocha
- Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary
- Strahovsky courtyard
- Strahovsky monastery and galleries
- summer and winter refectory
- the former Strahov hospital
- a view of Prague from the Strahov vineyards

- On site you can purchase tickets only if the capacity of the walk has not been filled - it is necessary to contact the organizer to find out the current situation.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk in case of low interest, the participants with the ticket will be informed about the cancellation of the walk and the money will be given to them returned to the account.
- Participants pay the combined entrance fee to the Strahov gallery and library (290/150 CZK/person) in addition to the ticket price on the spot.
