Stovkou přes Atlantik

Size doesn't matter! Luděk Chovanec from Frýdek-Místek built a small, five-meter sailboat at home in his garage and sailed it across the Atlantic Ocean as a participant in the Setka Atlantic Challenge 2021/22 race. He arrived from Portugal to the Caribbean Martinique in a total time of 41 days 22 hours 53 minutes and took second place in the race.
"The goal of the project was to show that even today it is possible to do ocean racing yachting without big sponsors and million dollar budgets. Persistence, courage and a desire for adventure are important," says Luděk Chovanec.
